MAKINGS

A sonic explosion of danceable beats, heavy guitars, and fist bumping hooks that pull you in. Makings have been setting the world alight with a string of scintillating releases and the kind of tireless work ethic that elevates them above a good many of their peers. In short, they have the tunes, the attitude, and that ever-elusive it factor.A group that not only survived during the pandemic, they thrived. Over the last 2 years they released a staggering 14 singles and set fire to every live stream they appeared on. With the return of live music in 2022 Makings have wasted no time returning to the stage with appearances at Bord Bia Bloom (phoenix park) , Stendhal (Northern Ireland) , Fireside (Meath), Letterkenny Blues and Roots (Donegal) and Oakfest (Donegal) . Catch Makings next at The Balor Arts Centre on 26th December

Not That We Know

Not That We Know, aka Eoghan Farren, is an electronic music producer and DJ from Donegal, Ireland. He hosts the Not That We Know Radio Show on Flirt FM and began producing electronic music as far back as 2012. Classically trained through his early years on piano, music has been a part of his life ever since. He is a multi instrumentalist and includes guitar, bass and drums amongst his repertoire.

A fascination with electronic music began when he attended a part time course in music production. Initially, he found genres like Techno, Dubstep and Drum 'N' Bass off-putting but came to appreciate those harder styles when learning about the level of detail that goes into each. Thus, he admits the closest genre to fit his current style would be progressive and melodic Techno.

Finding time recently to take his productions to the next level, he is currently working on releasing a self-titled debut EP.

His stage name, Not That We Know, comes from those big, existential questions we all face at different times in our lives. The answers to which none of us truly know.
